Additional Information
Country Booths
We are inviting each country attending the AASC to set up a "country booth" to form an "All Asia Welcome Center" for the delegates to browse and get information, take photos, etc.
The following equipment will be provided by AASC:
- 1 long 8" table
- 1 notice board
- Extension cords for each booth (or a group of booths to share) if needed
Note: Each country is responsible for funding their own displays and sourcing their exhibits for the booths.

School Flag Stand Tripod - To display your school banner at the Convention Hall, please purchase an upright Bunting Banner Tripod (see picture below). This can be ordered online or sourced from your local shops. Order a bunting tripod that can be easily folded and kept in your travel suitcase for easy transport. Please ensure that your bunting tripod has your school name on it (written/sticker name).

National Costumes
For Thursday Rally Night (ONLY), delegates may wear their National Costumes but should follow the ISC standard for the dress code.
How to Prepare
NOTE TO SCHOOL STAFF: It is suggested that you copy this, along with the rules and judging criteria for the particular event, and distribute them to students preparing for Student Convention.

Select Your Event The A.C.E. Student Convention programs include many events in various divisions. Choose those events that will best develop your talents and gifts for Christian service. (Read Contestant Guidelines very carefully for proper selection.) Your parents and supervisors may also suggest new areas where they see potential in your life. Note: All vocal and written entries must be in the English language. Any Bible quotes must be from the King James Version (not New King James Version).

Plan and Schedule Consider using an A.C.E. Goal Card to track your preparation. A wise man said, “Those who fail to plan, plan to fail.”

Get Input When you have selected your event(s), seek the advice of Godly adults in your family and church who have expertise in your area. Also, consider contacting professionals in this area for input (photographer, music teacher, and so on).

Practice. It is best to practice in a setting similar to actual competition. Consider asking for permission to practice before a group. Not only will this accustom you to performing before a group, it will help you test the effectiveness of your entry.

Pray As you prepare, pray that your performance will bring glory to the Lord. Also, pray that the Student Conventions will be a blessing to you and the others who attend. Pray that lives will be transformed and that many will commit their lives to service.

Do Your Best. “Good, better, best, let’s never rest, until our good is better, and our better is best.” The results will never exceed the investment.

Have Confidence. Don’t think that you can’t do well in competition. What counts is your commitment to practice. Some of the most outstanding winners have come from homeschools or small schools of only a few high school-age students.
Qualifications
Contestants may be enrolled in any of the following types of schools in which Accelerated Christian Education material and procedures are implemented by students and staff:
Formal day schools with a campus Learning Center such as:

Church School

Institutional School
-
Mission School
-
Private School (Any or all of the above will be referred to herein as a “day school.”)
All of the above must adhere to the following conditions:

Compliance with all appearance and dress code standards.
-
Compliance with the conduct code.
-
Compliance with age limitations.
-
Compliance with all event limitations.
-
Curriculum is diagnosed and prescribed according to the A.C.E. Procedures Manual.
-
The student is not enrolled in any other educational program in pursuit of a high school diploma, except for part-time or distance-learning college courses.

Each contestant must be currently enrolled and actively studying in a complete course of at least two of the five Accelerated Christian Education core subjects (Math, English, Social Studies, Science, or Word Building)
Number of Entries per School

Only ONE entry for all events with the exception of some events.

The following events may have 26 entries per school:
Golden Apple Award, Golden Lamb Award, Golden Harp Award, Christian Soldier Award, Christian Worker Award -
Scribe's Award has a maximum of 6 entries per school

Each contestant may have only one entry in an event. The Regional Convention may not establish policies contrary to the Student Convention Guidelines.

Eligibility
-
Students who attain their thirteenth birthday by December 31, 2024 and who have not attained their twentieth birthday by the same date are eligible to attend Student Convention.

Students who graduate or complete their graduation requirements at any time during the current school year may still compete.
-
Students who have graduated from high school prior to the present school year are not eligible to compete at the Convention regardless of their age.
-
Married students, parents, or expectant parents are not eligible to compete.
-
Students may not be recruited from any type school for participation at the Convention.
Number of Individual Events
-
A contestant may enter any SIX performance events with exceptions noted below. (Performance events are events that require the participant to compete during the actual Convention; that is, all athletic events, speech and drama, Bible Memory, and so on.)

A student may enter numerous nonperformance events, as approved by his/her parents. (Nonperformance events are events that only require the participant to submit his/her entry.)
-
The total combined number of performance and nonperformance events must not exceed twelve.
Exceptions and Clarifications:
-
Each student may enter only two elimination events. (Elimination events are Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Tennis, Chess, Checkers, Chinese Chess, Soccer, Badminton.) Those who participate in any two of these events may enter only two other performance events that involve four or more contestants.

Each contestant may enter no more than three athletic events.

A student may not participate in two identical events (that is, two male duets, and so on).
-
Each contestant must be present the entire Convention and must attend all scheduled rallies.
-
Students who participate in any athletic events must enter at least one nonathletic event.

Can we still make event changes after the registration deadline?
As we are nearing the AASC, it has come to our attention that schools are making changes and such changes are affecting the registrations, etc. Therefore, we are sorry to inform you that a penalty of 100 THB will be incurred for every change made. Thank you for your attention and understanding on this matter.
If a delegate is unable to join, can we request a refund?
There are no refunds once payment has been made.
Does the registration include housing & food?
Housing and food are NOT included in the registration
While we highly encourage all students to compete in events, students are welcome to come and observe without competing.

When should we plan to arrive and depart?
To avoid missing out on events, plan to arrive a day early (Nov. 23) and depart a day after (Nov. 30)
